Introduction

Welcome to this website regarding operational flood management. The initiative for the website was triggered by an exchange between Dutch and German professionals in the field of flood forecasting and emergency response measures, which was held in Tiel (NL) on the 4th of November 2016.

The contents of the website have been very much determined by the identified needs specified during this exchange. In time the structure and contents will change. Always in an attempt to meet the expectations and needs of its users.

This website is not only aimed at Dutch en German professionals! We are keen to join forces with professionals in other countries as well!
